Based on discussions at the September 2021 extended board retreat, the following committees were identified to assist in meeting our strategic plan goals. Thanks to the generous hard work of members, there is a lot of progress being made in a number of areas. Email us to find out more or join a committee listed below- Conference Committee Preparation for the 2023 conference is in the initial stages - from programming to planning and design, this is a great option for those event-planners! (GOAL 4) Marketing Committee Now that they've developed a new logo, this group will continue to re-imagine the CalSPRA brand from the visuals to real-life and digital experiences. (GOAL 1) Awards Committee This committee will get started next fall with reviewing entry types, promotion, collection, judging, and evaluating the 2022 awards experience. (GOAL 2, 4, 5) Partnerships/Sponsorships This committee will soon start with a goal to analyze the stratification of partners and sponsors of the organization, along with the benefits at each level and access to various perks. (GOAL 3) APR This group will continue the work of promoting and supporting the accreditation process within the organization. Must be an APR to join this committee. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion This committee will continue analyzing the dimensions of diversity within CalSPRA and the industry, setting baselines and target growth areas and developing implementation plans to get there. Will work with other committees to integrate DEI objectives into their initiatives. (GOAL 5) Membership Recruitment & Retention This ongoing committee will continue to review data collected through annual surveys and application forms, identify priorities and develop plans related to improving member experience. (GOAL 2) Issues Management This group will continue monitoring potential issues facing education and communication. When needed, we will develop appropriate sample messaging and guidance for organizational members. (GOAL 1, 2) |
