2020 Annual Conference
We’re headed to Newport Beach from March 12-14, 2020!
Registration is open for our annual conference in 2020. CalSPRA switches locations from northern to southern California each year, so we are heading south in 2020. After carefully reviewing your feedback from previous annual conferences, we selected Hyatt Regency Newport Beach in Newport, California.
Our seminar will be March 12-14, 2020. We start on Thursday at 1 p.m. and end on Saturday by 12 noon. Early travelers can book the hotel room block conference rate starting three days before the conference and carry it through to three days after the conference. Hopefully, you can come in early or stay longer to enjoy all that beautiful Newport Beach and the surrounding area has to offer.
Hyatt Regency Newport Beach’s sprawling, modern conference hotel provides a variety of on-campus and nearby off-campus networking opportunities, activities, and restaurants. The hotel backs up to walking, running, and biking trails along the Newport Bay. Balboa Island and Fashion Island are a short bike ride or rideshare away (there are bikes at the hotel!). John Wayne Airport is five minutes down the road and Huntington Beach, Long Beach, and Disneyland are all within a 30-minute drive. We have selected dates that give us the best possible hotel room rates and allow you to extend the room block rate on either side of the conference so that you can fully enjoy the area’s amenities. We understand how important these conference location amenities are to our membership.
We have many exciting things planned with our programming, keynotes, session presenters, and awards. Stay tuned! For now, registration for the conference and hotel rooms are open so please visit our website regularly for details and to secure your spot at the premier conference for California school communicators.
Registration closes on February 29, 2020.
Note: No refunds will be given after February 29 as we will have contracted with the venue for food and beverage service based on total conference registrations by this date.
